Swim & Fitness Instructor
Aja Najee has always been drawn to the world of fitness. She swam competitively through high school and has been an ACE certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor for the past 7 years. Returning for her second consecutive season with F.I.N.SEA Adventures, Aja is CPR & 1st Aid certified and is very excited to be returning as a swim instructor with Lil’ Guppies this summer. She is currently in school working towards her degree as a Registered Nurse and is also the proud mother of her beautiful 3 year old daughter, Donnielle. Our Lil’ Guppies take to Aja with ease, as she is a natural with children of all ages. As an instructor, Aja is extremely conscientious, patient, and firm.
Her experience as a mother carries over into her teaching approach, with her keen ability to sense the limits and fears of little ones and employ creative methods to encourage them to try something new (even if it’s a little scary sometimes!). Aja is looking forward to a full summer of splashing with Lil’ Guppies!
